To accurately test a semiconductor chip, one needs to make an electrical connection with a point so small it is the equivelent to locating a quarter in a city the size of Los Angeles. Needless to say, precision is one of the key concepts embedded in this logo. There are two versions of the logo, one spells out the full name, the other is a shorthand monogram.
